New campaign shows teens The Real Cost of tobacco use

real costThe U.S. Federal Drug Administration (FDA) recently launched a national public education campaign focused on preventing youth tobacco use. The “Real Cost” campaign looks at numerous consequences of tobacco use such as losing teeth, aging prematurely, and the hold addiction takes on your life. The campaign is scheduled to last a full year and future ads will target specific populations such as rural youth and Lesbian/Gay/Bi-sexual/Transgender youth.
